Meet Tara, our founder
Tara is our Award-winning salon owner. She started out in the Beauty Industry over 30 years ago with her first job in the Shelbourne Hotel. Tara then moved to London where she taught beauty before heading off on the high seas to travel the world to work in the beauty industry on many famous cruise liners.
This period culminated in being made the Beauty Salon Manager of the most prestigious ship of her day, the Queen Elizabeth II or more commonly known as the QE2 and managed a Beauty team of 20 staff on its World Cruise.
While working in beauty around the world with multinational skin & hair types, Tara gained vast experience which is invaluable to this day. It then came time to settle back on dry land, so it was time to come back to Ireland & work in different salons however Tara was not yet ready to settle & the itchy feet came along once again. This time it was the Canary Islands where life was less hectic than the wild seas however it was a nice change.
Following this, Tara was ready to return to Ireland and with a vast range of experience in not just beauty & management but in life she opened the doors to In Vogue Skin & Beauty in 1995.
Over the 28 years the salon has grown and achieved many awards, some of which are for Best Beauty Salon, Best Facial Salon, Best Nail, Brow & Lash Salon, Best Client Experience Award, Best Eyelash Extension salon to name but a few. Tara has had many achievements over her 28 years in business, however, her favourite achievement is to be able to say she has built up a clientele of 3 generations, Grandmothers, Daughters & Granddaughters. How wonderful!

Award Winning Salon
The Payment of Wages (Amendment) (Tips and Gratuities) Act 2022 came into effect on 1 December 2022.
The Act, introduces new rules about how employers share tips, gratuities and service charges amongst employees. It also makes it illegal for employers to use tips or gratuities to make up basic wages. At In Vogue Skin & Beauty all tips given to your Therapist goes to your Therapist and they greatly appreciate it.
